In allergic conjunctivitis, complaints such as itching, redness, watering in the eye, edema in the transparent layer of the eye, which we sometimes call chemosis, stinging due to allergic inflammation in the eyelids, swelling-edema in the eyelid skin can be observed. In infectious conjunctivitis, eye redness, discharge, burning, stinging, redness and edema in the eyelids, We encounter findings such as edema, scars and accumulations in chronic cases in the transparent layer of the eye. These conditions should be differentiated and treated by ophthalmologists after a detailed examination.
